Well, its been 10 years since mine! This saturday is mu reunion. I finally bought my ticket tonite. If I had bought them earlier I would have saved mucho dinero, but then I didn't realize that I was going to be off back then. =( Oh well. It might be fun to see everyone again. =)
My lateset obsession: Henry Fitzroy

Do you know who Henry Fitzroy is? He was one of the bastard sons of Henry VIII. What is more interesting is that he is a vampire in the TV show Blood Ties. Yes, I have a thing about vampires. Can't help it. Vampires are cool, unless they are the bad (killer) kind. But "good" vamps like Spike (when he was "good"), Angel, Henry (can't really think of other TV ones that I like at the moment) are HOT! Just check out Henry

Killer abs! And the smile. and eyes? Dreamy. =)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not Goth. Nor do I like to drink blood. But there is something about those vamps, when they are not out there killing people that is. =) Just imagine the amount of knowledge and experience they can obtain after hundreds of years! And their powers too. There are negatives too of course. The drinking of blood (I kinda LOVE real food,) then there is the watching your family and friends die, unless you "turn" them of course. Call me selfish, but I would rather be the first one to go so that I do now have to suffer the heartbreak of losing those you love.

Anyways, Blood Ties is one of my new faves. In my opinion, one of the HOTTEST TV shows out there right now. Of course there is also Bones. I so want Bones and Booth to get together! =) There is so much chemistry there. =)

But if you get the chance, watch the "Wrapped" episode of Blood Ties. Trust me girls, totally worth watching!!!

Thursday, November 08, 2007

Yay! The exam is over. I hope I passed. =) Although you only need 60% to pass, a lot of people fail it every year. Scary! But it is over and done with now. I get the results in the mail in December. Right around Christmas time. Sucks!!!! Oh well. Now that it is over. Let me post some long overdue pics.

First, my doggie Happy:

Cute huh? =) And then of course, Halloween just passed. And here is the batch of cookies I made.

The creepy fingers were made with Martha Stewart's recipe, but I changed it up a little bit and flavored the cookies with Almond extract as well as vanilla since the nails were made of almonds. Maybe that extra little bit of liquid is why my fingers came out fatter and flatter than hers. Next year, I'm thinking of filling the inside with a red colored dough or maybe some red jelly, you know, to simulate blood. =) I'm also thinking that maybe I should make them more multicultural. Have some black fingers, some white, and then some green witches. Maybe flavor them different too. The balls with eyes were a chocolate cookie with peanut butter filling that I found online. The only complaint about the recipe from folks online was that they were not visually attractive. My solution? Pipe eyes onto them. Very Halloween. Reminds me of the dustballs from Spirited Away. My only complaint is that those peanutbutter cookies REALLY need milk to go with them! =)

Procrastinating again

Its been a while. I've been procrastinating again. And since I should be studying for my license exam, I decided to post instead. =) Since my last post -- I have a new doggie! He's cute. Ummm lets see. I also seem to have developed an unhealthy obsession with a guy. I basically kinda want to... lets see... not kill.... not maim.... just humilitate I guess. I say obsession because he keeps showing up in my dreams!!!! Annoying! In the first one, I ripped him a new one, verbally. In the second, I beat him on my upcoming exam (hope that comes true!!!). And last night, he was deemed "incompetent" (by someone else). Hmmmm... Oh well. Time for work. Later folks
I'm Sick =(

Ack. I caught a cold. Why cold vs flu? No fever. Stupid cold. My nose is all dry and I am all phlegmy. Icky icky. I guess I overdid it last sat. Woke up early and then went to the gym. Did cardio for 30 min then weights for 30 min then TKB for 1 hour. Rushed home, went out and saw Knocked Up (very good movie by the way. Katherine Heigel is so pretty!!!!) then went to work. Worked 8 hours and then stayed late and did OT for another4.5 hours. Got home, watched some TV and finally went to sleep late, then woke up semi early on sunday and went out again. Aiyah! I guess I really am no longer a kid and I do actually need rest. =) Anyways, doing all that must have smushed my immune system and made me more susceptible than usual to colds.
2 weeks

Its been 2 weeks now since I started working evening shift. Its not bad at all. Yes it makes life a little harder, but its also kinda nice. I have more time to go the gym (and I do) and if I want to, more time to sleep. Put in some OT last night (this morning) so I was on my feet for 12 hours. Yikes, my feet are not happy with me! My body is also extremely sore at the moment, all that time at the gym makes your body sore. Well today is "lazy day" anyways. =) So I woke up late (not that late considering I went to sleep at around 5:30-6am) and then I went shopping. =) And now? PJs, ice cream, and TV!

Went to watch Knocked Up this weekend. Pretty funny movie. Its really cute. Prominent features? Lots of boobs, drugs, and the "F" word. Girls, this movie was lots of fun, and your guys won't mind a bit because of the boobs of course. =)

Burger and Fries anyone?

This is my latest creation. Not that interesting I suppose. Every Saturday for the last 2 years I go to the TKB class. Actually, what I do is get to the gym at about 9:30am, work out for an hour (30 min weights and 30 min machines) then I go to TKB (Turbo Kick Boxing) which lasts an hour. But then a couple of months ago they added on a second class right after the first. So now my routine is basically work out for 3 hours on Sat since I go to both classes. Which is exactly what I did today.

Going into hour 2.5 I suddenly was very tired and lazy and HUNGRY. I couldn't figure out why. Then it dawned on me. My new work schedule means I don't get home until after 12:30am. I didn't sleep until after 4am last nite, and I woke up at 8am to "eat" (more like drink) a quick breakfast. So - not enough calories, plus all the working out probably messed up my electrolytes and the lack of sleep all probably contributed to my extreme fatigue. Then I also realized that it was "that time." Of course it doesn't help that I went to the gym M-F too...

I'd like to say that I have learned my lesson and I won't do that craziness again, but I would be lying. But I will remember to bring a snack bar next time to nibble on during the first TKB class' cool down section.

First Shift

So tonite was my first evening shift. =) Bribed them with cookies and then did my best. I think it went well. =) My day went like this -- woke up at 9am, ate, went to the gym, worked out -- 30min elliptical, 30 min weights, 30 min sauna, went home, ate, went to Stonestown, ate, went to work, worked, ate dinner, worked, home, cherries and TV -- and now its 1am.

Plan for tomorrow -- wake up, eat, gym, eat, work, eat, work, eat, home, tv, sleep.

Eating is a big part of my day huh? haha. Oh well.
